Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House
1044 NW Bond St, Bend, OR 97703
The original Deschutes Brewery location, opened in 1988 by founder Gary Fish on NW Bond Street in downtown Bend — the pub where Oregon staples Black Butte Porter and Jubelale were first brewed, on a 10-barrel system, before Deschutes grew into one of the largest craft breweries in the US. The Bend Public House still pours 19 taps, including several of those original recipes alongside seasonal and pub-exclusive releases, and serves a farm-to-table pub menu built around local ingredients, with separate lunch, dinner, and daily happy-hour (2:30-4:30pm, Sunday-Thursday) menus. Upstairs is a self-service game room with shuffleboard and vintage video games. Brewery tours can be booked directly through Deschutes, and the pub takes reservations for parties of seven or more.
